"Quintessential Liars" is about Lacey. Lacey's ten-year isolated absence from her family and friend is marred with years of violence at the hands of her husband Rick. Upon returning home, Lacey is expected to pretend she’s fine after her abusive marriage, but she's tired of pretending.

"Beginning Anew" is about Bonita. Bonita divorces her abusive husband Bill. Unfortunately, navigating a life that includes the father of her children is easier said than done. Especially, when he manhandles her at their daughter's engagement party behind his new wife's back.
